Simple Image Transformations
Here is my parrot/RIO image. To erase the black on the parrot, I first made the background invisible, then used the magic wand to select the black (with a fairly low tolerance setting), and deleted the selected black. That sped up the erasing, which can get very tedious, especially the black pixels right next to the parrot. When I used the Unsharp Mask, I discovered that resetting to the defaults gave me a very sharp picture. I have used Sharpen on several images in the past, but now realize I'll get a sharper image with the Unsharp Mask. The Help button on the screen gave me information on what everything on that screen means. I used 15 percent compression to keep the text sharp.
For this transformation I used a picture of a country road and added to it the "bug" I did for Filter Frenzy class. This is fun! LOL
